Position / Title: Office Administrator - Watford City

Department: Operations

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reception, greeting customers/clients, answering phones
  • Deal with vendors and contacts such as janitorial, office equipment, phone system, etc.
  • Coordinating deliveries with couriers
  • Maintains, orders, and organizes office stationary & equipment
  • Types and formats letters and reports
  • Generating Purchase Orders
  • Tracking & Forwarding of supplier invoices
  • Complete credit applications
  • General office duties as required (e.g., maintenance, cleanliness, etc.)
  • Occasional purchasing and shipment of items for field and office operations
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with administrative duties
  • Assist in submission of Daily Work Orders
  • Enter time in on-line payroll system
  • Maintaining/Updating office manuals
  • Assisting with Health and Safety duties such as:
  • Maintaining training matrix for FSA employees
  • Scheduling training for new and existing employees
  • Other duties as determined from time to time

About You

  • High School Diploma
  • An Administrative Certificate or Diploma is a strong asset
  • Minimum level of intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office programs (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Internet Explorer
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Experience using accounting software an asset
  • Typing speed of 55+ words per minute
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Can-do attitude is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable contacting vendors, customers, and staff via phone or e-mail
  • An ability to prioritize is a must
  • Able to keep several projects moving forward at once
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Strong team player who is willing to go above and beyond
